Aviary for bearded reedlings

Outside the Native Wildlife Centre . Natterjack toads labelled but not seen . A small flock of these lovely little birds which I suspect had bred though the keeper i spoke to was a bit vague .

      They have reared five young this year.

      Thanks for the confirmation of breeding FBBird . Although well planted this was only a small aviary , though tucked away in a corner of the Farm area so probably missed by most visitors .

      Newquay has a very choice collection of smaller birds - particularly seedeaters , softbills , doves , parrots .

      Bearded reedlings were also labelled in one of the Touraco aviaries at Paradise Park though I did not see them .
