Amur leopard enclosure

This is the largest enclosure but one of the leopards was visible at the top of the climbing frame behind, there's a third smaller enclosure behind to the right.

This is the largest enclosure but one of the leopards was visible at the top of the climbing frame behind, there's a third smaller enclosure behind to the right. We were looking through a glass viewing window under the raised area which allows viewing of the upper part of the climbing frames.

      Interesting climbing structure.

They seem to be having to start from scratch with some of these enclosures in so much as mature trees are lacking in some of the park(though for Leopards that would mean a covered enclosure) but it looks like they have already planted around the bases of the climbing structures. It will take a while to tone down though.

They've done quite a bit of planting in a few enclosures since I was last there. I think although there were areas of woodland, eg the tigers, lemurs, red river hogs, there were also areas of empty field.

A lot of there enclosure which have been started from scratch now have a lot of foliage, I believe this has happened with the tigers, red river hogs and from looking at the photos Lemur walkthrough has got a lot of trees now.

This is one of the best [size] leopard enclosure, but I'm sure the foliage will grow in time, with people guessing 'where's the leopard?'

These are the very three enclosures that I already pointed out were always in woodland.

These are the very three enclosures that I already pointed out were always in woodland, all the trees in these areas are mature. Hence the name "Lemur Woods"

They have done some planting on the African Plains and a few other places since I was last there.

The plants will grow! What a great enclosure! It is huge and the climbing-struktures are wonderful! Sad that so many leopards have to live in tiny cages.

The Lemur Wood has always been a wood complete with trees. There hasn't been any extra planting that I'm aware of noticing.
