Maybe Scarlet-headed Blackbird (Amblyramphus holosericus), if it was taken at Amazon World
    • Writhedhornbill
Taken at London in 2001 (just found out now!)
    • Orycteropus
      @ bongorob: the Scarlet-headed Blackbird has a reversed colour combination ... ;)
    • Chlidonias
      black-hooded siskin I think
    • bongorob
I agree Chlidonias. London has some in a few years ago.

Orycteropus thanks for pointing that out, I didn't think it looked right for the blackbird.

I don't know what I was thinking of, this bird has a black head, so it obviously cound not be a scarlet-headed anything.

it is a Red Siskin, Carduelis cucullata.
    • Nanook
Yes definately a Hooded Siskin (Spinus cucullatus) Zupu.
    • Ladybug
      i think its a finch
    • condor
definitely red siskin, Carduelis cucullata. Spinus cucullatus is outdated name for red siskin. Hooded siskin is Carduelis magellanica and it is yellow.
