      I didn't realize brolgas were a European rarity when I was at London Zoo. I was actually a little bit annoyed because this was the first international zoo that I visited and I was looking forward to seeing other crane species. But the only cranes they had on display were the one species that I've seen before.

      That is unfortunate - even more so as this is the only European zoo where this could happen to you! Hopefully you saw plenty at the later zoos you visited..?

      EDIT: Just remembered you did Blackbrook - if you made it out of there without seeing some cranes you did well! :D

      Yeah, Blackbrook more than made up for London's lack of cranes.
