London lions

It was Lucifer's last full day in London, he had squashed himself behind some wooden posts at the back of the main enclosure and none of the other visitors who were there at the same time as me noticed him.

      Long term residents just about to leave for another Zoo are always interesting. I remember taking a photo of the Gorilla 'Lomie'(mother of Salome born at London) the day before she left the Zoo for Howletts. Though it was a breeding loan she never returned to London (she later went to Chessington instead.)
