Is this a post escape addition?

I could never work out why the tigers had an alarm on the bridge until my partner pointed out may be it because of all the trees in the enclosure? In case they bring the fence down?

Never seen an alarm at any other zoo though (before someone says it Colchester wouldn't need one lol :p )

I think it's to be admired that they've gone to the trouble of training the chimps both to read the sign and to dial the phone...

      ;)
      Mimmi and DavidBrown like this.

Its a pretty unusual sign to see stuck on an exhibit. Maybe after the escape 'Health and Safety' decided this was necessary.

I wonder what happens if they get the answer phone?

you chuck the phone at the escaped chimp, and make a run for it while the Chimp is busy dialling a number...;)

If I see an escaped chimp, I doubt I'd stop to get my phone out and dial a mobile number, I'd be running....
