I'm fortunate to be so close to so many muskox, which are quite rare in North American zoos. With 3 newborns the Greater Vancouver Zoo now has 7 muskox and the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium south of Seattle has 5 muskox. The only two zoos that have more in North America are Zoo Sauvage in Quebec and the Minnesota Zoo.
The zoo had 7 muskox at the time of this photo, but now has a solitary specimen left. Does anyone know where all the other animals went?
