I'm actually a little surprised about this. Normally the zoo leaves empty exhibits as they are for a while until they have to remove them. I wish this meant that the new Canadian exhibit was coming soon, but I feel like it's going to be a while until we even hear about it.
I really thought they would leave it to re purpose for the wilds. Maybe a lynx enclosure. Maybe there was something wrong with the building that made demo necessary.
I was pretty surprised to see them taking this exhibit down. I thought for sure it would have been re-purposed.
