Had to shake my head while taking photos here. Genius parents were telling their kids, "Look at the lions!" Our education system has seriously failed a ton of people.

It amazes me how many people get the big cats mixed up. Calling Tigers Lions and vice a versa. Or calling Cheetah's leopards or Jaguars. But the worst I've heard was a girls in her mid teens referring to the Tigers as an orange bear. I nearly collapsed after hearing that one.

I also heard the babirusas being called hippos and rhinos. Anything in the pig family sure but seriously hippo or rhino. One father was telling his kids well lets go outside to find the baby rhino's mom. Holy guy do you really think the zoo would separate a mom and baby?

That's just comical. People really need to pay attention in school.

      What a pretty tiger!

And, yeah, seeing people misidentify animals so badly drives me nuts. Like, even if you're not sure, zoos have signs and stuff.

TheMightyOrca you have a great point there. Signs are usually there for identification purposes. However, I find people think they know everything and repeatedly misidentify animals.

TheMightyOrca you want people to read? How radical. Lol. Do we really think a person who thinks a tiger is a lion can read because clearly they weren't paying attention in kindergarten.
