How in the world do they get a USDA license to be open to the public with this kind of fence? There is no way this can be legal!
Other than a small walking section, the entire zoo is seen via your own car as it is a drive-through park with a tour that lasts almost an hour. It took me only 45 minutes to go around as I wasn't stopping to feed the animals, but most cars bought entire loaves of whole wheat bread from the ticketing booth. I'm guessing that the flimsy-looking fence is perhaps 4 feet in height, with a 3-foot high section that has electric wires running across it. The gigantic size of some of the bears (labelled as "Kodiak") and the sight of the fence ensured that I had a queasy feeing in my stomach but I've never heard of any escapes from this facility.
