      I think so. We have been getting these diving after birds at my feeders and in one instance, a long drawn out chase through front yards after a squirrel.

      Definatly so! I took this long before I gained my raptor knowlege. An adult cooper's. Too large for sharp-shinned. You're luck to have them in your yard. I haven't had one since this!

      Yep, Cooper's for sure. As you state above, too large to be sharp-shinned. It is a little peculiar that you have only had one, they seem to stay where there is food.
