hog nosed skunk exhibit

He is always sleeping in his underground burrow, but a keeper put browse out and told me he would be above ground for about five minutes. I stayed and watched, taking a series of photos, and he was actually out for ten to fifteen minutes. Usually nocturnal, been sleeping in his burrow every other time I have been there, so this was a real treat.

      A species I've wanted to see my entire life. I've never visited a zoo with them on exhibit to the best of my recollection.
