Can someone explain to me why a zoo with (seemingly) good exhibits for snow leopards and prezwalski horse and red panda is closed for the winter???
You make an interesting point, especially because Binder Park is only open for 6 months each year. The "Wild Africa" area is borderline brilliant, including everything from the 18-acre savanna with 10 species to the many smaller exhibits along the African trail section. The rest of the zoo is hit-and-miss, but the snow leopard exhibit is only about a year or two old. There are now about 200 photos in the ZooChat gallery.
