      Twenty years later this is still a magnificent exhibit, and it holds up remarkably well and definitely better than the much older Tropic World at the Brookfield Zoo.

      Actually, Tropic World opened in 1982 (the African section only--the other parts opened in subsequent years).

      Jungleworld opened in 1985

      3 years that seems like a century when comparing the two now

      I always thought that Tropic World was opened in 1980, as quoted in the book America's Best Zoos, but wholeheartedly agree that Jungleworld is the better habitat.
