      I saw them at both San Diego Zoo and San Diego Wild Animal Park in the early 1990's. There are no longer any in the United States.

      Thanks! I'll have to read the posts from your link. Saiga are very interesting species, especially for antelope, and critically endangered as well...if only I ever get to see one.

      A wild stab in the dark given that this picture is from 1939 I would guess they died!!
