      @snowleopard Credit where credit's due, this is some of the most realistic rockwork I have ever seen! Unfortunately, the textured rock must be sweltering for Anana and Little One's feet, probably incentivizing them to use the pools. I hope the Zoo preserves the rock walls the way they are, when they add natural substrate.

      @Wyman Detroit Zoo just did a great job with their 1928 trio of bear grottoes by knocking down the joining walls and making the area into one large exhibit for their Grizzly Bears. If Cincinnati wants to maintain the mock-rock backdrop then they could do something similar or add on extra space in the same way that San Francisco Zoo created 'Grizzly Gulch'.
