      This impressive exhibit is much larger than what is shown in the photo, and one of the best bonobo enclosures in North America. Perhaps only the Columbus and San Diego zoos have better habitats for these great apes, which are still rarely found in many collections in North America.

      And they just had a baby bonobo born on March 25th.

      I think this exhibit creates a better sense of tropical forest than either San Diego or Columbus, although Columbus's (sort of) mixing with red river hogs is very interesting. All three are far superior to the Milwaukee or Ft. Worth bonobo exhibits.

      I've seen San Diego's exhibit and I think this one may have them beat.
