Columbus Zoo - Sun Bear Exhibit

July 2008. This outdoor enclosure for sun bears is probably the best in North America, and even more impressive than San Diego's sun bear forest.

      That does look nice. Although I'd be interested to hear from someone who's seen that one and Oakland's get a comparison.

      The problem with sun bear exhibits is that 7 out of 10 of them are inadequate, and so it is quite a delight to find one that is actually of top quality.

      This one looks good, but I personally think there’s too much rock in this enclosure. Add in more trees and some more natural substrate and it would look much better.
