Asian lion enclosure at Planckendael

A section of the asian lion enclosure at Planckendael animal park in Muizen, Belgium. The exhibit was built in 2006 and houses a couple and their 3 recently born cubs. The photo was taken on December the 16th.

      A very big moat for a comparatively small land space, or that's what it looks like....

      It's somewhat bigger than what can be seen here, but I do agree that it seemed a bit too small when I visited.
