From memories of my visit in 2002, Honolulu had a very nice collection of birds

I was also impressed by the variety of species (which is not hard, as I'm used to visiting Australian Zoos), but I was not impressed by the lack of variety in ther aviaries. The vast majority were extremely similar in design and interior decoration.

Hix, you wouldn't happen to have a comprehensive list of birds they have on-show would you? Their website has some listed but seems incomplete and out of date.

No, I don't. I used to do that when I was younger, but now it's too much trouble lugging around cameras and trying to make notes at the same time. And taking notes is time-consuming too.

When I write my review of the zoo I'll, list what species I remember.
