Is it really educational to put animals in toys...pardon, exhibits,
where children can knock on the walls on every side and the only way for an animal to hide is to dig itself in the substrate?

I hate this, it looks like a pet shop - and so many sources I have read say that box turtles shouldn't be kept in vivaria if at all possible.

How ironic that they're keeping box turtles in a box and is that the playground behind the exhibit? It would be so noisy as well as small and crowded.

Yes, it is a playground next to all these terrariums and is chaotic!
