      @Hix What was your impression of the "aurochs" when you saw them? Did you feel like you were in the presence of vanished Pleistocene megafauna, or that they were just big cows, or somewhere inbetween?

      Certainly, I didn't think I was in the presence of something prehistoric. More like wild cattle, somewhere between those over muscled domestic bulls and a shaggy gaur.

      This photo was on the random media today. It is DEFINITELY NOT an Aurochs, because it went extinct in 1627. I think it is something mixed with a Gaur.

      @RhinoHippoElephantGiraffe If you were to read the description, it has been back-bred to reach an animal that phenotypically resembles an Aurochs. Looks absolutely nothing like a Gaur by the way.
