Campo Gorilla Reserve exhibit at the Los Angeles Zoo

This is only a portion of the family group exhibit. The zoo has two exhibits, one for a family group and another one for a bachelor group.

This looks like a really nice exhibit. The only thing i would have done different is I woudl have planted towering fully grown trees during the construction instead of planting baby ones.

I agree, most of all the baby trees were eaten by the gorillas in the first week that they were on exhibit. The gorillas also went under the hot wire and destroyed most of the banana trees. The zoo wanted the banana trees to grow big with fruit before removing the hot wire for the gorillas, but the gorillas found out how to get around it.
