      That's a really cool exhibit. Do you get to see the echidna's ever or are they always underneath the soil? Sorry if I ask to many questions but I'm going to the L.A. Zoo in about a month and I'm really excited.

      Not always but the echidnas are indeed sometimes visible. They never dig underground, but they do have a small house that they spend a lot of time in. Your best chance to see the echidnas and koalas active is if you go early in the morning. And don't worry about asking questions.

      We think it will be even more awesome in a couple more years, after a few more of the major new exhibits open. But we like it! :)

      What r the major exhibits?

      The major exhibits are Campo Gorilla Reserve, Red Ape Reserve, Chimpanzees of Mahale Mountains, Monkeys of China, and I think the Snow Leopard, Sumatran Tiger, Lion, and Giraffe exhibits should also be included because there is always lots of activity around them.
