      Does anyone know the species in this exhibit. (if any)

      It's a pond meant to attract local wildlife, especially amphibians and reptiles. I saw some tadpoles in it and a Western Fence Lizard nearby.

      That's great to hear! I didn't think we would see anything in there within the first year.

      At least 3 western toads have metamorphosed in the pond. I'm sure more will be doing the same in the next several days. The youngsters spend most of their time hiding.

      I always scan this pond first before entering LAIR. I'll look extra hard on my next visit.
