ZOO Antwerpen - Birds of Prey Aviaries
Some of smaller bird of prey aviaries in ZOO Antwerpen. The smaller Bird of Prey Aviaries are easily the dullest and worst functioning exhibits in the zoo. The red archways behind the aviaries are part of the roof of Antwerpen Centraal Station, one of the biggest railway stations in Western Europe. The Bird of Prey aviaries that were originally built as part of the Jubilee Complex which opened in 1968 to celebrate the zoos 125th anniversary (also including the Nocturama, Aquaforum and Carnivore exhibits).
