ZOO Antwerpen - Carnivore exhibit (Leopard)
The smaller of the two exhibits for amur leopards (Panthera pardus orientalis) in ZOO Antwerpen. A VERY traditional zoo exhibit. The Carnivore exhibits were originally built for big cats and bears as part of the Jubilee Complex which opened in 1968 to celebrate the zoos 125th anniversary (also including the Nocturama, Aquaforum and Bird of Prey Aviaries). The bears and lions have already received new exhibits and the tigers and leopards are next in line. ZOO Antwerpen, July 2011.
