ZOO Antwerpen - Bird House (South America)
The South American grassland exhibit inside the Bird House in ZOO Antwerpen. This little piece of South America houses: - Pyrrhuloxia (Cardinalis sinuatus) - Brazilian tanager (Ramphocelus bresilius) - Ultramarine grosbeak (Cyanocompsa brissonii) - Pileated finch (Coryphospingus pileatus) - Red-cowled cardinal (Paroaria dominicana) - Green honeycreepers (Chlorophanes spiza) The Bird House opened in 1948 and houses a huge variety of tropical birds ranging from the common to the very rare.
