      I was shocked at just how close visitors can get to the huge alligator below them. The fence isn't even anything that an average person could jump over, and there are always some fools out there that would be willing to try!

      Can the alligator swim under the bridge to get to the otherside of it?

      No, I'm fairly sure that the gator was restricted to only one side of the bridge. Incidentally this area is in the children's zoo, which is 7 acres in size and probably the best I've ever seen.

      He can go under the bridge but not to the other side.
