What do you think of the new Islands exhibits, jusko?

Open air croc exhibit in Pittsburgh? I'm hoping they have a choice between an indoor and outdoor enclosure? Aren't Philippine crocodiles suspectible to low temperatures? I was lead to believe that was why Chester got rid of their pair, the tropical house couldn't sustain the right temperature for long periods.

I liked it a lot david. One of my favorites was the indoor holding area for both the Leopards and pigs. it keeps both species active as both can see each other and the clouded leopard kept trying to get to the pigs lol. Now im looking forward to the next phase called JUNGLE!!!!

Brum, the crocodiles have a indoor night house they go to. the crocodiles will be in this exhibit only during the summer months.

Good to know that they are playing it safe with this rare taxon. I just think it's odd to build an outdoor exhibit for croc's in a cold climate zoo!

      Thanks for the mini-review.

Have they announced what species will be in their JUNGLE project? Will they finally be building an outdoor orang exhibit?

they have not announced any species yet to the Jungle Project. I believe this area will include a new outdoor orangutan exhibit!!!
