Common Palm Civet at Prague, 24/05/10
Paradoxurus hermaphroditus In the nocturnal section of the Indonesian Jungle exhibit. In this area, the geogrpahic theme is relaxed a little (all the Asian and Australasian nocturnal exhibits are here; there is an African nocturnal section in the 'Afrika Zblizka'/'Africa From Near' building). The nocturnal section includes: Sugar Glider, Common Slow Loris, Chinese Ferret-Badger, Egyptian Fruit Bat, Brush-tailed Bettong, Grey Ground Cuscus, Brush-tailed Possum, Common Palm Civet and the wonderful Javan Wart Snake. All visible between our two first passes through the building, although the ferret-badger stayed tightly curled up!
