This is one of the best gorilla habitats in North America, and the sunny weather means that the great apes have outdoor access 365 days a year. The exhibit is no Congo Gorilla Forest, but it is still first class.

I love this exhibit, it is awesome and has very little hot-wire, lots to climb, lots of shade, superb viewing.

@snowleopard In your opinion, which zoos's gorilla outdoor exhibits can be considered as "one of the best in the world"

@StellarChaser On my thread "Gorillas in Major American Zoos", I provided these lists:

My 12 favourite gorilla exhibits in American zoos (alphabetical ranking):

      Atlanta
      Bronx
      Busch Gardens
      Dallas
      Disney’s Animal Kingdom
      Houston
      Lincoln Park
      Riverbanks
      Saint Louis
      San Diego
      Sedgwick County
      Woodland Park

One main difference between American and European zoos is that the ‘Euros’ like to provide a lot of mixed-species habitats in their zoos. On my 2019 road trip through Europe, I saw gorillas in together with meerkats, diana monkeys, black-crested mangabeys, red-capped mangabeys and various types of colobus monkeys at several zoos.

The 5 worst gorilla exhibits in American zoos (alphabetical ranking):

      ABQ BioPark
Brookfield – entirely indoors on a mock-rock monstrosity
Buffalo – an all-indoor cave setting
      Cleveland
      Milwaukee County

However, the most impressive outdoor gorilla exhibit that I've ever seen in a zoo is the outstanding habitat at Apenheul in the Netherlands. The enclosure is at least a couple of acres in size and here are some photos:
