Lost Forest - Ituri Forest - Forest Buffalo and Others Exhibit

November 2013. This exhibit contains forest buffalo, red river hog, African spot-necked otter, Allen\'s swamp monkey, and Schmidt\'s red-tailed monkey. This African-themed exhibit complex opened in 2 phases in the 1990’s and has 5 exhibits.

How common is this species in U.S. zoos?

Very rare in public collections although I believe some are maintained in the ranches...
