what is happening with the original panda exhibit?
    • DavidBrown
They are building a bridge connecting the panda area with Elephant Odyssey and they don't want to bother the pandas during construction.

What animal usually uses these exhibits and what is the plan for them after the pandas move back?
    • Arizona Docent
I thought the bridge is to connect treetops (near gorillas) to Elephant Odyssey? Connecting pandas would make it another ramp, not a bridge.

They are building the bridge over the pandas, so that is why they were moved. The bridge will start at the end of Tree Top Way. I was told it will have an elevator tower.
Those exhibits were most recently used by the Andean bear. The male bear was moved up the canyon to the wire netted exhibit that once house the old lioness, Tango. The new 18-month-old female Andean bear, Alba, is in the exhibit to the right of that. I am not sure what will go into the exhibits after the pandas move back.

Where exactly is the end of Tree Top Way. Is that by the bonobos?
    • betsy
Treetops Way is the path that starts at the front of the zoo between the flamingos and the bus tour ticket booth. It ends at Treetops Cafe.
