      how does it compare to Russia's Grizzly Coast bear exhibit?

      Russia's Grizzly Coast exhibit is also fantastic, and probably the second best grizzly habitat in North America. Oklahoma City and the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park also have awesome enclosures for grizzlies. In Minnesota there are 3 bears, and they are younger and more active than Seattle's two older ones. However, the Seattle bears are enormous, as each one weighs over 900 pounds!! The exhibit there is beautiful, as there are the bears on one side and a river otter habitat on the other. Then there are actually rocky mountain goats behind the otters, and so I've sat in the indoor viewing area (with underwater views of the bears and otters) and have seen all 3 animal species at the same time.
