This exhibit is now no more: the Asian blacks are in the (superb) wooded enclosure, along with the langurs, while the Syrians have moved on (to another zoo, or to God, I know not). However, I could see no trace of this old exhibit. Has it been converted into something else (if so, it is unrecognisable), or has it been wholly obliterated? It seems puzzling that there is not some palimpsest of it, remaining as a reminder of the past. (There may be some remnant that I managed to miss, despite spending a good 6 or 7 hours in the zoo - it's a big old place with lots of pathways heading this way and that.....).
