Is this as great as it looks? I'm pleased to see something that is not concrete, tiny, and within the confines of a type of pit or grotto.
We saw one very easily from the bottom of the exhibit; beyond that, to be completely honest we didn't really try to see any more! We were happy with our view of one animal quite happily trundling around. Plzen has too many weird animals for some generic Brown Bears to detain us for too long!
I assume this is just a natural forest that they fenced in, yet it looks better than any multi-million dollar artificial exhibit that could have been built. Very similar to the approach of Northwest Trek here in USA (which is probably the best zoological park in America).
