BBP 08/2016: Inside the Papua aviary
The Papua aviary is a walkthrough enclosure featuring many free-roaming birds, some of which you are able to feed during the daily activities. Not all species here are actually from Papua New Guinea Free-roaming species: Magpie goose, purple heron, great egret, golden pheasant, Lady Amherst's pheasant, Indian blue peafowl, grey crowned crane, racket-tailed drongo, white-bellied imperial pigeon, Sclater's crowned pigeon, Western crowned pigeon (not seen), emerald dove (not seen), cinnamon ground dove (not seen), king parrot, red-winged parrot, rainbow lorikeet, black-capped lorikeet (not seen), dusky lorikeet, black lorikeet, yellow-streaked lorikeet, chattering lorikeet and oriental pied hornbill. Seperate enclosure feature ornate lorikeet, Victoria crowned pigeon, lesser bird-of-paradise and twelve-wired bird of paradise
