      WOW & DOUBLE WOW, you know how to make our mouths water dont you, hehe, I knew of quite a few Hornbill species but never heard of this one. wait till ben sees this one.

      Indeed Mark, Makes me think how easy it would be to smuggle birds here through the torres strait, lol

      Yeah this species isn't common in zoos. I'm trying to get/find a picture of the Helmeted Hornbills at the park. Quite a bird. The problem with photographing them is that they live in 8 to 10-metre high aviaries, and they like to stay high up. Good for their breeding, not so good for people trying to spot them.
