All animal-info signs at Night Safari have been changed to these back-lit ones. Each species is devoted 2 of such signs, with one of the signs having recorded commentaries in 4 languages (English, Chinese, Malay, Japanese).

      Are theyt really Aussie Sugars or are the NG ones?

      It was A LOT of work for the education dept!

      All of the sugar gliders at the Zoo and Safari are confiscated animals so their origins are almost untraceable. Its illegal to keep them in Singapore as pets, but many people still attempt to. My guess is that they (most of them at least) are the NG ones which were smuggled here by way of Indonesia.

      @Zooish Sugar gliders are still in the legal pet trade across Japan. I have seen them in Pet stores as well.
