Indian Subcontinent - Lion exhibit

2 groups of Lions are rotated for display - a bachelor trio of African Lions, and a breeding group of Asian Lions. Pictured are the African Lions. Photo taken without tripod and from a far distance, hence the blurriness.

I don't wanna insult you (also, because I know that you can take good pictures):

But, does it really make sense to put in this picture in the forum?? I mean it looks like fighting black panthers in a tunnel...:)

Well, if you expanded the picture, you could make out some details.. In any case, it was intended to give an impression of the Night Safari's (dark) atmosphere.

No offense but they are loads more crappy pictures on the forum to take cheap shots at (eg. a dozen shots of the same exact animal moving about a quarter inch between shots) :)

      Agree with the last part:)

But haven't we still enough (good) picture from the atmosphere from Night Safari in the gallery?

PS: I can understand you. A part of my heart belongs also to the zoological institutions of singapore. They are simply great!

And i was so close to posting even darker pictures! OK, I shall spare everyone and do a bit of quality control when posting :)

While not to be considered great photographs due to the difficulty in taking under such conditions, I for one, feel these pictures to be valuable in presenting the look and feel of Night Safari. Thanks Zooish.
