Malayan Colugo

So I was taking some photos around the Night Safari entrance at about 7.30pm and a wild colugo comes gliding out of a cluster of trees and landed on a very exposed tree in the middle of the park's entrance plaza. It stayed at eye level for a good 10 minutes, curiously observing the surroundings, before retreating higher up the tree.

      nice photo! Colugos are such weird-looking critters. They almost have a mouse deer head.

      That is one of the most bizarre looking creatures I have ever seen! The face reminds me from one of the aliens in the Cantina scene in Star Wars: A New Hope. (Or maybe it was another Star Wars scene - been many years since I have seen them).
