Orang Utan island enclosure, Singapore Zoo

The adult males and older females are housed on this island as they're not suitable candidates for free-ranging (males because of safety aspect, older females because of their reduced agility). This island is scheduled for redevelopment soon, to be split into 2 separate islands, each housing a separate subspecies.
