Male Proboscis Monkey "Victo" at Singapore Zoo

The most prized collection at the Singapore Zoo are the Proboscis Monkeys. Outside of their native Borneo, we are the only institution which has successfully raised them. To date, 13 monkeys have been born since 1998.

      They are very unusual animals.

      Their enclosure is fully netted with glass windows for viewing. They should be very easy to view up close.
