Most venomous land snake in the world! Typical zoo marketing hype for an otherwise unremarkable looking snake. Double layer of glass for security, not sure if its really necessary though.

      the double glass helps by blocking the sound on incessent children banging (and adults)!

      true it does serve that purpose, however that wasn't the zoo officials' intention as 2 other reptile tanks next to it (one housing carpet pythons, another with bearded dragons/skinks) only have the usual single pane of glass.
