      I think the only Sumatran orang-utans live in the covered exhibit near the sun bears.

      Both Sumatran and Bornean Orang Utans can be found in the free-range areas and the island enclosure. The ones in the photo all look like Borneans though.

      Aren't the 2 species kept separate, otherwise hybridization seems a dangerous option....

      They are mixed in non-breeding groups, such as females with juveniles, or all males.
