      did you see any native wildlife in drive thru safari or on dirt road.

      Yes there was plenty! There were brushland tinamou everywhere - you can even see one at a distance in this photo. Many woodpeckers (mostly golden-bellied) and a few of the more common regional birds too - horneros and the like. :)

      did you see any chaco tortoises and native lizards.

      None here but during the same roadtrip I came across a few small native lizards which I've not managed to identify, but sadly no snakes or tortoises.
