      Sorry but that isn't an Alagoas curassow, it is a black curassow or maybe a female red billed curassow. With about only 50 Alagoas curassows left i would be shocked if they would be on display in a zoo .

      Thanks coffeepheasant, I just labelled it after the enclosure sign. I know that the only remaining 'pure' Alagoas curassows left are in private collections, but I thought this might be one of the hybridised specimens left in public collections.

      @coffeepheasant There are Alagoas curassows displayed in Belo Horizonte zoo, in Brazil. They were "recently" added to display

      @David Matos Mendes as well as those in Parque das Aves, which I've since seen. :)
      The animal here looks like a mislabelled red-billed curassow.
