Clay-coloured Robin in San Jose, 12/04/14
[i]Turdus grayi[/i] Wild in the grounds of Zoo Simon Bolivar. Perhaps unexpectedly, given the country can boast quetzals, toucans, macaws and motmots, this modestly attractive thrush is Costa Rica's national bird (owing to the fact its song is heard around harvest time).
