Aalborg Zoo - Tropical House (Primate exhibits)

The outdoor exhibits for smaller primates and agoutis outside the Tropical House in Aalborg Zoo. The first exhibit houses goeldi’s monkeys (Callimico goeldii) and orange-rumped agoutis (Dasyproctia leporina), the second houses lion tamarins (Leontopithecus rosalia) and the third features emperor tamarins (Saguinus imperator subgrisescens). The small mammals can also be seen inside the house. The Tropical House is a good example of 1980’es zoo architecture and features mostly reptiles but also a few small mammals, birds, amphibians and fish. July 2012
